South Africa: HIV and Circumcision - Where Are We At the End of 2020?

[spotlight] Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) has been shown to reduce the risk of female-to-male HIV transmission by 60%. Studies have also shown that by reducing infections in men and boys, the intervention in turn also reduces HIV infections in women and girls, although to a lesser degree.
