When Is It Safe to Proceed With Pancreaticoduodenectomy Without Biliary Decompression?

DISCUSSION: All patients presenting with bilirubin ≥15 mg/dL should undergo PBD, while those with bilirubin ≤10 mg/dL should forego stent placement to avoid stent-related complications.
