Hip fracture is a musculoskeletal trauma that occurs in a large proportion of elderly patients. which tend to have comorbidity compared to young patients might occur patients ’ morbidity, mortality and medical burden for both caregivers and health systems. The number of hip fractures in the United States has doubled in 20 years, with 340,000 hip fractures in 2000, and the medical cost has reached 9 billion dollars [1, 2]. The 1-year mortality rate among elderly patient s is generally 20%–30% [3-5].
