Photoimmunotherapy: Artificial Metalloprotein Nanoanalogues: In Situ Catalytic Production of Oxygen to Enhance Photoimmunotherapeutic Inhibition of Primary and Abscopal Tumor Growth (Small 46/2020)

In article number2004345, Bang ‐Ping Jiang, Xing‐Can Shen, and co‐workers develop one type of brand‐new artificial metalloprotein nanoanalogues for enhanced photoimmunotherapy via reasonably integrating “phototherapy‐enzymatic” RuO2 and model antigen ovalbumin. This ushers a prospect of concurrently enhancing photodynamic therapy and reversing the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment by in situ catalyzing overexpressed H2O2 to produce O2.
