Can COVID-19 Lead to Another Pandemic of Back Pain?

To examine the effects of a sudden shift to remote work due to the COVID-19 pandemic on sitting behaviors, computer use, and ultimately, the risk of developing/exacerbating neck and low-back pain. COVID-19 caused an abrupt shift to social-distancing which caused an increase in remote work. These societal shifts may result in increased seated time, which has detrimental effects on spine posture and result in musculoskeletal disorders.
