Upper extremity emergencies during SARS-COV-2 pandemic: turnout trends

On a worldwide scale, on January 30, the World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 outbreak a public health emergency of international concern [1]. In the absence of a COVID-19 vaccine, governments around the world had to take a number of public health measures to reduce the transmission of the virus and to avoid a massive influx of patients into public hospitals that could overwhelm health systems. In Greece, the first government action was on February 27th following the first three confirmed COVID-19 cases, which was to ban seasonal celebratory parades about to take place on the last weekend of February.
