Cardioneuroablation for the treatment of recurrent swallow syncope

We present a 62-year-old male with recurrent neurally mediated syncope with falls and many injuries. Syncopal spells were triggered by swallowing of fluid. Structural cardiac and oesophageal abnormalities were excluded. Idiopathic deglutition (swallow) syncope was confirmed by a provocation test with a cold carbonated beverage that induced sinus arrest of 7-s duration.
