Generalized anxiety disorder among university-entrance preparation course students

Conclusions Anxiety regarding the test was the factor most strongly associated with symptomatology of GAD, which suggests that the emotions and concerns specific to the context of evaluations may predispose the individual to a higher risk of developing this disorder. Based on these results, we suggest the inclusion of mental health professionals in the context of university-entrance preparation courses, as well as interventions aiming the development of a healthy relationship between the student and their academic demands.
