Social care: funding and workforce, House of Commons Health Select Committee

Committee is calling for urgent& sustained investment in social care to resolve crisis in funding, exposed by Covid-19 pandemic, with immediate increase to avoid risk of market collapse. £ 7bn figure is starting point but would not address growing problem of unmet need& access.
