Non-tuberculous mycobacteria: five year experience
Conclusions: Our results confirme the role of increased prevalence of chronic lung disease and immunosuppressive conditions in the pathogenesis of NTM infection. According with literature, MAC account for the majority of NTM isolated in our hospital.
