Impairment of pulmonary function as a main risk factor for ineffective endobronchial valve placement in patients with chronic cavitary tuberculosis
Conclusion: Low pulmonary function is one of the main risk factors for ineffective EBV placement in patients with tuberculosis. Other factors for ineffective EBV placement may be MDR-TB and more than two blocked segments during the procedure.
