Long term follow up of antenatally detected congenital lung malformation suggests lung health is not dependent on early surgery

Conclusion: These data suggest that while lung function is reduced in a large number of school age children born with CLM, surgery in infancy does not influence long term spirometry. Parents of infants with antenatal CLM can be reassured by these long term outcomes when facing management choices.
