Neither Preoperative Pulse Pressure nor Systolic Blood Pressure Is Associated With Cardiac Complications After Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting.
CONCLUSIONS: Elevated preoperative pulse pressure was associated with a modest increase in postoperative troponin-T concentrations, but not postoperative cardiovascular complications or in-hospital mortality in patients having CABG. Pulse pressure was not a better predictor than systolic blood pressure.
