62.1 you've got to be carefully taught: the current state of sex education for individuals with intellectual developmental disorders

The objectives of this presentation are to: 1) understand the gaps in education and guidance that adolescents with intellectual or developmental delay (IDD) and their parents receive about sexuality and sexual function; and 2) identify some outpatient-based practices that can help educate and support individuals and their caregivers through pubertal changes.
