11.3 early adversity, psychopathology, and telomere erosion in children and adolescents

The objectives of this presentation are to discuss and synthesize research findings evaluating the associations between early adversity, psychopathology, and telomere erosion longitudinally during childhood and adolescence. Findings from 2 longitudinal samples are included: 1) children who experienced severe psychosocial deprivation in Bucharest, Romania; and 2) community children from the United States.
