11.4 sex differences in the effects of prenatal stress on telomere biology in the developing mouse brain

In this study, we examined whether prenatal stress, a risk factor for mental illnesses, affected telomere biology in the developing brain. In particular, we were interested in sex differences in these effects, because of epidemiological studies suggesting greater impacts of prenatal stress on male offspring.
