ConclusionSystemic disease has a detrimental influence over longevity of composite restorations. Therefore, considering the reduced survival rates of the composite restorations for children who have systemic disease, alternative non-invasive treatment options should be considered.Clinical relevanceThis study ’s novelty is the observation of drastically reduced survival of composite restorations in children with systemic disease.
