Outcomes of Tumor Lysis Syndrome (TLS) in Solid and Hematologic Cancers: A Nationwide Analysis
Tumor lysis syndrome (TLS) is an oncologic emergency and a well-known complication of rapidly proliferating hematologic malignancies. Over the past decades, it has been increasingly described in solid tumors. We performed a retrospective study of TLS patients using the Nationwide Emergency Department Sample (NEDS) Database for the year 2016. We sought to compare outcomes between patients with solid and hematologic cancers.
