Palliative Care in the Surgical ICU: Does a Dedicated Curriculum Make a Useful Addition to the Resident ’s Tool Box?
The objective of this pilot study was to develop, implement, and evaluate a SICU PC curriculum that provide s medical students and residents with training and didactics in pain management, comfort care, and terminal extubation, as well as communication and debriefing.
