Antimicrobial Activity of Fusidic Acid Inclusion Complexes

During last decade most of the research was focused on the synthesis and analysis of the physico-chemical, therapeutic properties of new pharmaceutical substances (Mraz et al., 2012; Marian et al., 2012; Benedec et al., 2016a; Olah et al., 2016) or mixtures of active principles extracted from different plant products (Benedec et al., 2016a; Sirbu et al., 2017; Jurca et al., 2011; Jurca and Vicas, 2010; Pallag et al., 2016; Mogosan et al., 2017). In human pathology an important role is played by staphylococcal infections, especially by Staphylococcus aureus, with a relatively wide spread – ranging from minor skin infections to life threatening sepsis.
