Comparing the Effect of Systolic Dysfunction on Outcomes By Sex In Patients with Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction
Because there may be signals of sex-based differences in response to HFpEF therapy according to left ventricular ejection fraction, we hypothesize that there will be a prognostic difference in clinical outcomes by sex according to global longitudinal strain (GLS) in HFpEF and this may be associated with treatment heterogeneity with spironolactone.
