A useful case for comparison, and a new definition of disease-free status

The recent report of corona virus 2019 reinfection [1] has some parallels with, and also some differences from another recently published report of covid 19 reinfection [2]. The latter report concerned a 33  year old man who initially presented with fever. Cough, sputum, sore throat and headache. The diagnosis of covid-19 was confirmed by a positive posterior oropharyngeal saliva SARS-Cov-2 RT-PCR test on March 26, 2020. By the time he was hospitalised, on March 29, all his symptoms had subsided.
