Impact of sarcopenia on morbi-mortality after infra-inguinal revascularization for critical ischemia
Sarcopenia is considered to be a geriatric syndrome. The number of infra-inguinal revascularizations for chronic critical ischemia (CCI) in old patients is constantly increasing, and the vascular surgeon is confronted with possibly sarcopenic patients. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of sarcopenia on postoperative morbi-mortality after infra-inguinal revascularization for CCI.
