Updated meta-analysis on the efficacy of genotype-guided antiplatelet therapy versus standard therapy for patients undergoing PCI

We read with great interest the systematic review and meta-analysis titled “Genotype-guided antiplatelet therapy compared with standard therapy for patients with acute coronary syndromes or undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention: A systematic review and meta-analysis” [1] by Wang et al. This meta-analysis included a total of 4859 from seven randomized controlled trials (RCTs) and demonstrated that the genotype-guided antiplatelet therapy may reduce the risk of myocardial infarction (MI) and stent thrombosis compared with standard treatment.
