Association between exposure to toxoplasmosis and major psychiatric disorders: a systematic review.

CONCLUSION: Although there was no association between exposure to toxoplasmosis and major depressive disorder, the results indicate an association with both bipolar disorder and schizophrenia, despite their heterogeneity.
