Biologics targeting type I interferons in SLE: A meta-analysis and systematic review of randomised controlled trials.

CONCLUSION: This meta-analysis substantiates IFNAR as a therapeutic target in SLE. Inhibition of type I IFNs predisposes to herpes zoster and other viral infections.
