How does racism impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black and Asian LGBT+ people?

Centre for Mental Health wants to better understand the impact of racism on the mental health and wellbeing of Black and Asian LGBT+ people in the UK. Are you Black or Asian and LGBT+? Can you help? We know that discrimination, in all its forms, can have negative impacts on mental health. However, we are yet to fully understand the impact of racism on LGBT+ people from Black and Asian communities. We would to talk to you about your experiences, listen to your stories, and publish a number of short articles to raise awareness about what the impacts of racism are and what can be done to stop it. Are you interested in taking part? A volunteer will chat to you, in total confidence, for about 45 mins over the phone or via video call. He will ask you some questions about your experiences, listen to your stories, and write a piece based on what you have told him. The piece will then be sent to you for your approval. Nothing will be published without your agreement. You can remain anonymous if you wish. And you can pull out at any point if you change your mind.
