Severe Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia requiring intensive care in children, 2010-2019.
CONCLUSION: M. pneumoniae infection can cause severe life-threatening pneumonia in children. Delayed effective and second-line antibiotic treatments are associated with severe life-threatening MPP.
