Creating a ‘safe haven’ for the most vulnerable; Early Reports of Management Strategies for Breast Cancer Patients in the UK during the COVID -19 Pandemic times

The pandemic infection due to the new COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) has led to drastic changes in the delivery of standard of healthcare in the UK and worldwide by extension. The unprecedented nature of this virus has led to development of new pathways and new ways of delivery of care. UK government guidelines stipulates protection of those most at risk of severe illness from COVID-19 and suggest these vulnerable groups follow strict social distancing guidelines to mitigate the risk of acquiring the infection.
