Pemphigus vulgaris of difficult clinical management

The aim of this study is to report a case of pemphigus vulgaris that was difficult to clinically control. A 39-year-old single, self-declared black man was admitted to the hospital for diagnosis. He had ulcerated lesions that appeared 2 months ago on the scalp, face, chest, armpits, groin, forearm, and buccal cavity. A biopsy was performed on the lower right dorsum skin region compatible with pemphigus vulgaris. In the oral cavity, painful ulcers were observed that made feeding and phonation difficult.
