Standardized Criteria for Review of Perinatal Suicides and Accidental Drug-Related Deaths.

CONCLUSION: After application of standardized criteria, the Utah Perinatal Mortality Review Committee determined that pregnancy itself was the inciting event leading to the majority of accidental drug-related deaths or suicides among pregnant and postpartum women.
