Value of performing routine vascular mapping synchronous with radiographic assessment of endodontic lesions-case series

With the adoption of limited volume cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) imaging in dentistry, high resolution of the maxillomandibular complex has led to the recognition of numerous accessory neurovascular canals. The preoperative identification of these structures is essential to facilitate the safe performance of an assortment of invasive dental procedures; however, there is limited information in the endodontic literature regarding mapping of these neurovascular canals and their anatomic variants.
