Acute hyperosmolar hyperglycaemic state in cystic fibrosis-related diabetes caused by glucocorticoid and itraconazole interaction
A 15-year old boy with cystic fibrosis-related diabetes (CFRD) presented to the emergency department of his regional hospital with a short history of lethargy, nausea and vomiting, and was found to be markedly hyperglycaemic and hyperosmolar without ketosis.
