Impact of reported NSAID “allergies” on opioid use disorder in back pain

Reported NSAID allergy represents a risk factor for OUD in patients with chronic back pain. There may be an important role for Allergy specialists in the multi-disciplinary care, evaluation, and de-labeling of patients with pain and with reported NSAID allergies.
