Immunohistochemical Analysis of Protective Effects of Maternal Fingolimod on the Placenta and Fetal Lung and Brain in Chorioamnionitis-Induced Preterm Birth Rat Model.
Conclusion: The findings of the present study confirm the neuroprotective effects of antenatally administered fingolimod, which also significantly improved preterm fetal lung injury and placental inflammation in LPS-exposed preterm pregnancies by possible antiapoptotic and anti-inflammatory effects.
