Impact of surgical treatment on the performance status of patients with high-grade gliomas.

CONCLUSION: According to our study, the first operation has a beneficial effect on the performance status in patients with HGG. The results for the second operation are more ambiguous, but there is no clear evidence for worsening of the KPS score after the second intervention.
