Intraoperative extracorporeal circulatory support in lung transplantation for pulmonary fibrosis.
CONCLUSIONS: Pulmonary hypertension with elevated PVR values predicts the need of intraoperative ECMO in patients receiving lung transplantation for pulmonary fibrosis. Although the postoperative course was more complicated in the ECMO+, long-term survival did not differ significantly.
