A Theoretical Model for Delivery of Congenital Heart Surgery in the United States.

CONCLUSIONS: Our model suggests the U.S. could be served by approximately 100 fewer CHS hospitals than currently exist. With hospitals optimally placed, patient travel burden would decrease.
