Burkholderia pseudomallei septic arthritis in Type-2 diabetes mellitus patients: Report of two cases

B. pseudomallei septic arthritis most commonly occurs in diabetics and other immunocompromised patients and may prove fatal despite appropriate therapy. Clinical and microbiological suspicion of B. pseudomallei infection may help in providing appropriate empirical therapy.
