Trisomy 21 and COVID-19 in Pediatric Patients

We present 4 pediatric patients with trisomy 21 (T21) and associated comorbidities who developed COVID-19 requiring hospitalization. A review of the literature revealed that co-morbidities associated with T21 may predispose patients to severe disease. Children with T21 should be considered high risk and monitored carefully if infected with SARS-CoV-2.
