Metabolic syndrome linked to worse outcomes for COVID-19 patients
(Tulane University) Patients hospitalized with COVID-19 who had a combination of high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes were over three times more likely to die from the disease, according to a new Tulane University study published in Diabetes Care.
