Intratracheal administration of budesonide with surfactant in very low birth weight infants to prevent bronchopulmonary dysplasia.

CONCLUSION: Early intratracheal administration of budesonide with surfactant in preterm infants with severe RDS might decrease BPD and mortality without disturbing surfactant function.
