Maternal obesity and the risk of early-onset hypertensive disorders of pregnancy

(University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston) Pregnant obese women were more at risk of experiencing early and late-onset hypertensive disorders, and that risk progressively increased in women with higher body mass indexes (BMI), according to a study led by researchers at UTHealth.
