Nail fold capillary abnormalities: a possible cause for nail psoriasis? Br J Dermatol. 2020 Aug 07;: Authors: Long F, He F, Wang J, Wang L, Tu J, Zhang Z, Xia J, Lu Y, Yin Z Abstract Digital video nailfold capillaroscopy (DVNC) is an efficient and noninvasive technique for the evaluation of local microcirculation, which has been widely used in the diagnosis and prediction of several kinds of connective tissue diseases. To this day, reports on the changes of the nail fold capillaries (NFC) in patients with psoriasis vulgaris (PV) accompanied with nail involved are scarce and the existing data are not conclusive. Using DVNC, we found that NFC abnormalities may relate to nail psoriasis (NP). PMID: 32767750 [PubMed - as supplied by publisher]
