Higher Child Body Mass Index Is Associated with Greater School-Based Health Center Utilization.
Conclusions: Students with higher BMI percentiles, categorized as overweight/obesity, had higher SBHC utilization than normal/underweight peers, but visit diagnoses were similar. This higher utilization may provide an as-yet untapped opportunity to expand school-based obesity prevention and management.
