Natriuretic peptides and echocardiographic parameters in Mexican children environmentally exposed to arsenic.
CONCLUSIONS: In this study, we showed associations between plasma BNP and arsenic exposure. Our results support the importance of reducing childhood arsenic exposure, which may have cardiovascular effects early in life.
