NIH awards nearly $250 million to seven firms making COVID tests

The NIH said innovative tests by Mesa Biotech, Quidel, Ginkgo Bioworks, Talis Biomedical, Helix OpCo, Fluidigm and Mammoth Biosciences will help expand and speed testing in the US.
