Congenital Benign Metastasizing Teratoma? A Case Report and Literature Review

A case is presented of a patient with completely resected congenital immature gastric teratoma containing yolk sac tumor, with locoregional recurrence and peritoneal seeding 25 months later as pure mature teratoma. To the knowledge of the author, this is the first case of its type to progress purely as mature teratoma.
