A Case of Lemierre's Syndrome Caused by Initially Identified as Group C Streptococcus
We report a rare case of Lemierre's syndrome in a previously healthy 21-year-old male caused by Streptococcus anginosus, initially identified as a group C Streptococcus. The only other case of Lemierre's syndrome caused by group C Streptococcus may have been misidentified (1).
