Millions in grant funds headed to schools for Covid-19 assistance
More funds are being diverted toward health care and educational resources to help public schools cope with Covid-19.
Roughly $70 million has been awarded to support the Alabama State Department of Education’s Education Health and Wellness Grant Program, and $100 million has been slated to support the Educational Remote Learning Devices Program.
